You will not lose 10 pounds of body fat with these so called fast diets. Fast dieting, especially those that claim results in just 3 days or less, lose the dieter nothing more than water weight through their potentially dangerous eating plans. Let us explain it in another way.
Weight Loss through Illness
Have you ever been really sick for a few days with say diarrhoea, food poisoning, or any other condition that has you sitting on, or crouched over the toilet constantly. At the end of such sickness we are usually dehydrated, and weak. But what a lot of people notice is how much weight they have lost during that time. Yes, they have lost weight, but it’s not fat, it’s water. Our bodies are made up of one heck of a lot of water, so it stands to reason if we lose some of that fluid we are going to appear lighter, thinner, but it’s not fat loss, it’s water loss, and the moment we start hydrating again, that seeming lost weight comes right back on. In actual fact, if you’ve not been able to eat for a few days, and there’s a good chance you’ll put on a few extra pounds too, as the body starts to store fats in case it is deprived again in the near future.
If you’re concerned about your body image and your health and fitness levels, please try to avoid short cuts and embark on a steady, progressive lifestyle change that included healthy eating and regular exercise. It is then and only then, that you’ll achieve your goals and be able to maintain that weight you so want to be.
